The Spring 2026 meeting will take place at Purdue University Fort Wayne. Check-in begins at 3:00 PM on Friday, April 10.

The local organizer is Adam Coffman (coffmana@pfw.edu).

Directions

We recommend driving into campus via the main entrances on Coliseum Blvd or Crescent Ave. Please see the Campus Map.

The closest parking is in the lot near the Science Building, where registration and most talks will start on Friday and Saturday.  Use the spaces with white stripes (no permit required).  The green stripes are for Purdue paid permits, and the blue stripes on the north side of the Science Building are accessible spaces for handicap permits.  The closest parking garage is P2 if you prefer (again, use spaces with white stripes). Or, it takes less than 15 minutes to walk from the Holiday Inn hotel to the Science Building.

The Friday banquet and Saturday lunch will take place in the Walb Union.

Talks / Posters

If you are planning to give a contributed talk or present a poster, please use the talk/poster submission form. The submission deadline is March 26, 2026.

Indiana Collegiate Mathematics Competition (ICMC)

Use the meeting registration form to register your ICMC team by the end of the day on April 6, 2026. Please make sure that each individual team member is registered for the meeting as a student, and also complete the ICMC team details form (one submission per team).

Embracing Hyperbolicity

What if straight lines aren't 'straight'? What if there was more than 360 degrees around a point? What if we get rid of even more of the rules of flat geometry? In this talk I will introduce hyperbolic space, discuss the related concept of cone points and give an overview of my most recent research on flat surfaces with cone points.
